Role Summary:
- Enhance the quality of horticultural education at the School of Botanical Horticulture
- Develop innovative courses and teaching methods, and evaluate educational quality and outcomes
- Support the school's administration, running the Kew Diploma and other programs
- Collaborate with horticultural teams to ensure quality learning outcomes and pastoral care
- Lead field trips within the UK and abroad.

The role: As a Horticultural Technician at the School of Botanical Horticulture, you will be a key member of our team. Your responsibilities will include improving the quality of Kew’s horticulture training offer, developing new courses and new ways of learning, evaluating teaching quality and learning outcomes. You will support the day-to-day running and organisation of the School, providing technician support, running aspects of the Kew Diploma, such as plant idents, vegetable plot project, and dissertation support. Additionally, you will liaise with horticulture teams to ensure learning quality outcomes and pastoral care, and manage the Modular courses. You will also take students on day visits and field trips in the UK and overseas.

Job requirements: The successful candidate will need to develop strong working relationships with staff, students, apprentices, and visiting lecturers at all levels across the organisation.
