Our Wakehurst Learning programme currently welcomes over 11,000 pupils from EYFS to KS5 from schools across the South-East.
The role: As a Senior Teacher, you will be supported by fully planned curriculum linked workshops and a knowledgeable team. This position allows you to educate outside the constraints of formal learning environments, using nature as your classroom to instill a sense of awe and wonder for the natural world in young people.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate must be educated to degree level or equivalent in a related subject such as biology, geography, education, or the environment. A teaching qualification and significant experience in teaching and delivering science education programmes within the last three years are essential. Experience working with a wide range of abilities and ages (Primary and Secondary) is required, along with a good working knowledge of plant biology, conservation, and the UK Science National Curriculum. An Enhanced DBS Check is required for this role.
