About You
You have a unique combination of strategy, analytics, and project management experience to design, drive, and deliver on user experience. You know how important first impressions are. You’re a chess player (no matter the rating!) and understand what drives players’ passion for the game. You’re a strong communicator and are comfortable working both async and remotely.
What you'll do:
- Analyze data and KPI's around onboarding, retention, and conversion of new chess players.
- Develop hypotheses and test ideas to improve KPI's for new chess players.
- Coordinate with design, UX, CRM, project management, monetization, development and other teams to plan, execute, measure, and repeat the AB testing process for new chess players.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years experience optimizing product engagement, including user onboarding, for games or other D2C apps.
- Strong familiarity with the Chess.com platform and community.
- UX and design experience with an emphasis on conversion optimization.
- Project management skills in cross-team environments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills working in a fully distributed team
- Sense of ownership and responsibility
About the Opportunity
