LIS is a startup university that equips learners with an interdisciplinary toolkit to tackle the complex, real-world problems of the 21st century. With a world-class faculty, 3 exceptional founding cohorts and close partnerships with global organisations such as McKinsey, KPMG and innocent, LIS is building a new type of education for those who want to shape the world, not just fit in.
Now, we're looking for an all-star growth marketer to supercharge our growth.
What the job involves
- Establishing our growth marketing function and owning the end-to-end funnel from acquisition to engagement to enrolment of learners
- Kickstarting, monitoring and evaluating innovative growth experiments to create shifts in LIS' learner growth and create growth loops
- Collaborating as a member of a cross-functional team on developing new educational programmes by bringing your marketing experience to help us find product-market fit
- Leading on the growth and optimisation strategy for each product's lifecycle marketing
- Optimising SEO, SEM, finding and driving other paid channels, such as affiliates, influencer marketing and sponsorship
- Becoming an expert on LIS and being able to masterfully articulate our vision and product portfolios
- Supporting content and social teams in redefining LIS' tone of voice to drive engagement and conversion across our growth channels
Requirements
- You're a diligent, entrepreneurial self-starter: you love all things growth, marketing and brand and are energised by taking full responsibility for a workflow from inception through to execution, measuring results, refining the process and going again
- You're wildly creative, but data-driven: you recognise the importance of testing truly innovative ideas to grow LIS' learner base. Your data skills guide your process, but your creativity defines it
- You have experience of working in a growth marketing role and are comfortable with working in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment with some degree of ambiguity
- Execution is your middle name: you're a doer. You recognise that strategy and planning can only get you so far and that high growth is dependent on getting things done to a high standard
- You are hypothesis-driven and rapidly test and learn: you're constantly in experimentation mode and prefer asking for forgiveness, rather than permission. When you find a channel that works well, you double down on it. When you don't, you learn and pivot
- You have an unbridled passion for disrupting higher education and growing a new type of university that rivals legacy institutions
- You have a high degree of integrity, humility and trustworthiness
