💻 About the role

Vitl has a fantastic opportunity for a proven leader in retail strategy and sales to join our brilliant team. The National Account Manager will be responsible for developing our UK retail strategy and expansion, including building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts across online and offline channels.

Here are some of the things you'll be charged with:

  • Managing our P&L for our key retail partners (Boots, Sainsbury's, H&B, Ocado, Amazon) and responsible for maintaining strong relationships with these
  • Working with current and prospective partners to build 360° customer plans, including trade marketing and digital marketing, to drive awareness of Vitl and to deliver sustained growth for the business
  • Identifying and negotiating new business opportunities (both bricks & mortar and e-commerce) to further drive sales of Vitl products
  • Drive listings of new product launches in our current and future accounts to increase brand presence and rate of sale
  • Working collaboratively with Operations and Marketing, you will also have the opportunity to co-develop new products based on retailer feedback

This is a hugely exciting opportunity to build out and expand our retail function, with a high degree of autonomy. The person in this role will be part of the Vitl leadership team and will therefore have a strong ability to influence Vitl’s future strategy and growth.

Requirements

👩‍💻 A bit about you

  • Proven work experience as a National Account Manager or Sales Manager in health, beauty, snacks or broader FMCG
  • Proficient in both bricks and mortar and e-commerce channels
  • Demonstrable negotiation experience
  • Strong ability to build and maintain successful relationships with key partners
  • In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Hands on experience building and managing a P&L
  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • Availability to travel as needed to our retail partners

👌 Extra credit

  • A specific interest in health and/or nutrition
  • Previous experience working at a start-up is nice but not essential
  • Experienced in growing brands and driving sales on Amazon
