Role Summary:

The European Space Agency (ESA) is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Engineer to join our Technology, Engineering and Quality Directorate at ESTEC in Noordwijk, Netherlands. This role is crucial for the management and development of our test facilities and laboratories.

The role: As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Test Facilities and Laboratories Section within the TEC Test Facilities and Infrastructure Office. Your responsibilities will include planning, developing, and implementing new and upgraded test facilities to meet evolving space test requirements. You will coordinate and supervise installation and assembly activities, improve test methods, and ensure the operational efficiency and safety of the test facilities. Additionally, you will support ESA projects by providing testing-related assessments and expertise.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in an engineering discipline relevant to our TEC engineering and testing laboratory domain. You should have experience in quality management systems, certification, and using IT tools like SharePoint and Teams. Knowledge of procurement processes and project management skills are also required.
