Role Summary

  • Prepare timely and precise financial reports for the US VP and Group Head of Finance.
  • Manage US banking relationships and accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including audit and tax for trading entities across the UK, US, and Asia.
  • Work together with the US management and group finance teams on budgets and periodic reforecasts.

Role Requirements

  • ACA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent understanding of UK statutory accounting requirements.
  • Able to manage relationship with multiple stakeholders, including international ones.

The Opportunity We are looking for a qualified accountant with a background in practice to join our finance team based in Hammersmith. This role involves a number of reporting responsibilities to the Group Head of Finance, Group CFO, and the US VP on a regular basis. Additionally, you will work alongside external advisors on compliance with statutory requirements including audit and tax for trading entities across the UK, US, and Asia.

Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: providing timely and accurate financial information to the US VP, managing US banking relationships and accounts, preparing information for monthly management accounts for the US, holding monthly meetings with budget holders, and managing the balance sheet of US including monthly bank reconciliations. You will also work alongside US management and group finance teams to prepare annual budgets and periodic reforecasts, and liaise with FCTG colleagues to ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations and other regulatory and risk-based matters. There may be a potential requirement to travel to the US 2-3 times a year.

You are ACA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification experience, have a strong grasp of UK statutory accounting requirements, and are comfortable managing relationships across multiple stakeholders, including internationally.
