Analyst, Entrepreneur First Graduate Programme

About Entrepreneur First

Everyone at Entrepreneur First believes it really matters what the world’s most talented people choose to do with their lives. Entrepreneur First is Europe's leading Talent Investor, a company that backs exceptional people to quit their jobs and build the biggest ideas they can imagine.

We’re a pre-idea investor which means we help shape the early days of the company and support the journey through the first 12 months. Over the past 10 years, we have built a reputation as the world's leading talent investor, pioneering the model in 2011. We have over 3000 founders in our community, 6 offices around the world, a portfolio worth just over $10 billion and have raised over $1.5 billion in funding. Our companies range from deep tech to consumer goods with a diverse range of sectors from biotech to finance. We invest in people who are solving hard problems. See how it works here: https://www.joinef.com/how-it-works/

The Role

Would you like to build skills in the talent investment sector? Learn how startups are built? Work with some of Europe's top founders? Talent is the beating heart of the work and we’re seeking a Graduate level (0-2 years) who wants to roll their sleeves up and get involved at the deep end.

You will be building the first-ever Entrepreneur First Graduate programme. This is a venture-building programme exclusively for the smartest and most ambitious fresh graduates out there. You will be searching Europe’s universities for the most exciting and capable final-year students and helping them to become founders.

This is a role focused on deep connections with the UK university community. You will meet exceptional people and talk to them about ambitions for the future to find out if we’re a suitable place to help them. We don’t sell jobs here, there are no salaries or benefits to pitching. You’re working towards their ultimate ambitions and taking them off the beaten path.

You'll run the operations that sit beneath a 100-person-per-year hiring programme and work with our onboarding team to provide a smooth customer experience.

Your role will include:

- Managing the end-to-end pipeline of applications, interviews and offers all the way until they start their journey with EF

- Managing communications with candidates using our CRM

- Leading and operationally managing selection processes such as application reviews, interviews, offer rollouts and onboarding

- Building relationships with aspiring founders, resolving their concerns, and coaching them through the application process.

- Delivering high-quality candidate experience to every candidate regardless of their outcome in the selection process.

- Building close relationships with candidates

- Spending time on campuses and at events, seeking out the best candidates.

About You:

The learning curve at Entrepreneur First is incredibly steep and rewarding. You’ll have access to an incredible network of outliers and get to work at the peak of your ambitions. This is an opportunity to be there from day zero with some of the unicorns of tomorrow. We're deploying just over £3,000,000 this year into start ups and you'll help shape where this investment goes.

You will need:

- Operational excellence: your ability to operate quickly and reliably will be the cornerstone of exceptional customer experience. You will need an ability to manage end-to-end processes and run operations independently.

- A can-do attitude: we will be running experiments and trialing new ways of doing things, the whole team needs to be keen to roll their sleeves up and get involved.

- Outgoing and friendly: a core part of your job will be networking, relationship building and being the friendly face on interview days.

- A demonstrated passion for technology and startups: we spend our days geeking out over candidates’ technical skillsets; you must have a genuine interest in what they are building and an ability to speak engagingly with them about it.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills: you are a confident communicator who can represent the company credibly.

What We Offer

Salary - £25,000 - £35,000

- Generous holidays: in addition to 23 days holiday, we also close the office down for two weeks over Christmas and New Year.

- A Learning & Development allowance to purchase any product or service that will contribute to your personal or professional development.

- A Wellness allowance to spend on things enhancing your health and wellbeing, e.g. gym membership, yoga classes, Vitality, subscription to Headspace etc.
