ISSOS is seeking a Film Teacher for our summer school program at St Andrews. This role is an exciting opportunity to lead a class of international students aged 13-18 through a comprehensive 3-week film production course.

The organisation: ISSOS provides a creative and supportive learning environment which encourages students to pursue their passions and develop new skills. Our summer school programs are designed to foster international understanding and personal growth.

The role: As a Film Teacher, you will conduct seminars and hands-on training covering all aspects of film production including script writing, directing, production management, cinematography, editing, location scouting, and set design. Your main goal will be to help students produce their own short films, which will be showcased at the end of the session. This role not only focuses on technical skills but also on enhancing students' teamwork, leadership, and communication abilities.

Job requirements: Applicants must have expert knowledge of cameras and film production, with prior experience on a film set being preferable. Previous teaching experience is essential, and experience teaching international students is preferred. Fluency in English is required.

Benefits: The position is fully residential with accommodation and meals provided once students arrive. Staff are responsible for their meals during the orientation period. A travel reimbursement of up to £150 is also offered.
