Role Summary
- Manage the implementation of the Next Generation Gravity Mission across both space and ground segments. Supervise end-to-end procurement and technical management within agreed specifications, costs, and schedule.
- Manage industrial contracts, interface with international partners, and lead the ESA Project Teams.
- Report to ESA technical authorities and represent the project in various delegate bodies.
Role Requirements
- Candidates must have a master’s degree in a scientific/engineering domain and +10 years of relevant professional experience or a bachelor’s degree plus an additional four years of experience.
- Proven leadership skills, strong relationship management, and good communication are essential along with a deep understanding of space system development, ESA and industrial development processes, and complex project risk management.

This role is crucial as ESA and NASA have established an international cooperation to develop the Earth gravity monitoring mission known as MAGIC — the 'Mass change And Geosciences International Constellation'.
The role: As the NGGM Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of the Next Generation Gravity Mission (Phases B2/C/D/E1), which includes both space and ground segments. You will oversee the end-to-end procurement and technical management within the agreed specifications, costs, and schedule. This position involves managing industrial contracts, interfacing with international partners, and leading the ESA Project Teams. Your role will also include reporting to ESA technical authorities and representing the project in various delegate bodies.
