Role Summary

Role Requirements

The role: As an Energy Advisor, you will engage directly with the community to provide trusted, expert advice on home energy savings. This includes conducting home assessments, providing energy efficiency advice, and engaging the public at events and advice clinics. You will recommend behavior changes and home improvements to reduce carbon emissions and decarbonize energy use at home. The role requires working flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, and promoting the service through various channels.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have customer service or people-facing experience, excellent verbal and listening skills, and a friendly and professional attitude. Knowledge of energy efficiency measures is essential, though full training will be provided. You should be organized, reliable, computer-literate, and have a strong interest in combating climate change.
