About the role: Copy Editing Intern
As a Copy Editing Intern at Diversio, you will be joining a team that is working on a product that is defining the industry standard and is currently helping organizations advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. You will work with Diversio teams to help build and develop training/ learning materials for our Diversio EDU product line. It will be your role to research, write and edit content for internal and external audiences. You are made for our team if you are inquisitive, have a positive attitude, and demonstrate creative problem-solving when approaching learning materials.
We are open and supportive of remote workers within Canada.
What you will do:
Thoroughly revise and edit copy for all mediums by providing proper grammar, spell-checking, and writing conventions in adherence to Diversio policies Work with the creative leadership team to maintain the voice of the brand and present material in an accessible manor Identify gaps in current assets, and suggest alternatives Research subject matter, competitors, industry, and target audience Work with the customer success team to identify and understand high-level messaging and strategyYou will likely* have:
Experience working in a professional environment Pursuing a degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or any other relevant program in the third or final year of your program Effective research and information-gathering skills with publications in your field Ability to take the initiative from ideas to action quickly, to try something new, and problem-solve using analytics Strong communications skills Ability to be a team player in addition to being a self-starter Detail oriented, and comfortable with multitasking Eagerness to learn and adaptThe details:
Pay $20 CAD per hour 10 -15 hours a week Contract for January - May with an opportunity for an extension through the summerLast day to apply is Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
