ISSOS is seeking a Debate Teacher for our summer school program at the University of St Andrews. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating educational environment.

The role - what the role entails: As a Debate Teacher, you will lead a class of international students aged 13-18 years old, focusing on the art of public speaking and debate. The role involves teaching for 3 hours each weekday morning during the 3-week program. You will develop and execute engaging lesson plans that cover all aspects of debate, including delivery, organization, evidence analysis, argument intervention, and debating theory.
Job requirements - any requirements mentioned: Candidates must have prior teaching experience, preferably with international students, and be fluent in English. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing yet challenging educational atmosphere are essential.
