The role: As a Lunar Scientist, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing a portfolio of lunar science activities within the D/HRE. Reporting directly to the Lunar Science Office Team Lead, your responsibilities will include leading the identification of scientific priorities, preparing and managing end-to-end announcement of opportunity selection processes, and defining scientific requirements for lunar missions. You will also support mission definition and development, establish science operations approaches, and ensure the delivery of lunar scientific data products.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in a relevant field and have at least four years of professional experience. You should possess deep knowledge relevant to lunar science, have experience in conducting autonomous research, and be familiar with the publication of scientific research. Experience in science management and the organization of international scientific activities is also required.
