Role Summary

The European Space Agency (ESA) is seeking a Space Rider Payload Aggregate Officer to join the Space Rider Programme within the Flight Programmes Department, Directorate of Space Transportation. This position is based at ESRIN in Frascati, Italy.
The role: As a Space Rider Payload Aggregate Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the payload aggregate of Space Rider. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the technical preparation of the payload aggregate, payload accommodation, and flight operations studies conducted by the industrial prime contractor. You will manage and prepare payload aggregate documentation throughout the design, development, and qualification phases. Additionally, you will be involved in managing mission technical documentation for flight preparation, operations, and post-flight phases.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in engineering or a related discipline, along with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience. Strong systems-engineering competence, knowledge of space systems development, and PA standards are essential.
