Role Summary
- You'll work within the ESA Navigation Security Office and the NAV Cybersecurity Audit team.
- Analyze technical and legal implications of new cybersecurity regulations across various programmes such as Galileo, EGNOS, Celeste, NAV H2020, and NAV Horizon Europe.
- Contribute to the creation of a cyber legal compliance tool within the ESA Cyber Internal Audit Framework.
Role Requirements
- Recent completion or in the final year of a master's degree in IT Engineering, Science, or Legal discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the aptitude to function independently and within international teams.
- Experience in working within international teams is desirable.

The role As a National Graduate Trainee in the NAV Cybersecurity Audit team, you will be at the intersection of IT engineering and policy. You will work in the ESA Navigation Security Office and be part of the ESA NAV Cyber Internal Audits Unit. Your main role will be to analyse the technical and legal impact of the new cybersecurity regulations with a main focus on the following critical programmes: Galileo, EGNOS, Celeste, NAV H2020 and NAV Horizon Europe. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of a cyber legal compliance tool that will be integrated within the ESA Cyber Internal Audit Framework.
Job requirements You should have just completed, or be in the final year of your master's degree in an IT engineering, science or legal discipline. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a multicultural environment, both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience of working in international teams may be considered an asset.
