  • Strong leadership, analytical and organizational abilities are necessary.

The European Space Agency (ESA) is seeking a qualified ESO Corporate Security Assurance Manager to join our Directorate of Resources and Services. This position is based in one of our offices in Brussels, Belgium; Frascati, Italy; or Noordwijk, Netherlands.

The role: As the ESO Corporate Security Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all corporate security assurance activities as outlined in the ESA Security Regulation and Directives. This includes coordinating the ESO Corporate Security Assurance Team and managing security certification, accreditation processes, security inspections, audits, and training. You will work closely with various ESA directorates and Member State representatives to enhance the security infrastructure and systems across the agency.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in a relevant field and at least 4 years of professional experience in security assurance or a related area. Alternatively, candidates with a bachelor's degree and an additional four years of relevant experience may also be considered. You should have in-depth knowledge of the ESA and EU security framework, accreditation processes, and security risk management. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
