Role Summary

Role Requirements
- A master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience, or a bachelor's degree with additional four years of relevant experience.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, planning and organisational abilities, and a results-oriented approach.
- Experience in public-private partnership projects, commercial telecommunications companies and projects with a security dimension is advantageous.

The European Space Agency (ESA) is seeking a Secure Connectivity Ground Segment Service Engineer to join the Secure Connectivity Ground Segment and Operations Office within the Directorate of Connectivity and Secure Communications. This role is based at ESTEC in Noordwijk, Netherlands.
The role: As a Secure Connectivity Ground Segment Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising all ground segment service engineering tasks related to the effective design and development of the infrastructure providing services to end users. This includes overseeing the technical requirements lifecycle for the IRIS² service component of the ground segment, coordinating with domain teams to ensure consistent requirements, and supervising the implementation of service infrastructure activities.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience, or a bachelor's degree with an additional four years of relevant experience.
