We are seeking a talented Backend Software Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The role is critical to the next phase of our growth as we continue to curate the world’s most desirable hotel collection.
The Role: As a Backend Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of our backend services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end applications and our partners. You will lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, front-end development, and DevOps, to deliver high-quality products and features.
Job Requirements: We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers. Proven experience as a backend developer, with a track record of delivering scalable and high-quality software solutions is required. Strong expertise in PHP development using frameworks such as Symfony (or Laravel) using the right design pattern for the right purpose is also required. Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture is a must. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience in deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment is also required.
