Rewilding Oder Delta e.V. is a nature conservation organisation founded in 2019 to implement rewilding in the Oder Delta in Germany and Poland. We are one of the ten areas supported by Rewilding Europe. Together with local partners, we implement activities to protect nature and support a nature-based economy across borders around the Szczecin Lagoon.
The role entails supporting the finances and administration of our rewilding activities. This includes funding management, financial accounting, payroll accounting, personnel administration, and donor and membership administration. The position is initially limited to 6 years, but has the prospect of being made permanent. The preferred place of work is our project office in Rothenklempenow-Glashütte.
Job requirements include completed commercial or tax-related training or studies in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or a comparable field, professional experience in accounting, financial accounting and administration, ideally with accounting solutions such as DATEV. Good understanding of relevant German legislation with regard to reporting obligations and innovations, especially in the NGO sector is required. Fluent written and spoken German, very good knowledge of English, knowledge of Polish an advantage.
