HydRON is working on setting the benchmark in space technology by demonstrating the first all-optical, multi-orbit network in space. Aimed to provide terabit-per-second capacity, the project extends 'Fibre in the Sky' and 'Internet beyond Cloud(s)'.
Role Summary:
- Leading the specification, design, procurement, development, and verification of the satellite and its equipment.
- Monitoring the industrial progress and design evolution.
- Ensuring that the progress remains consistent with the technical and programmatic requirements.

- A master's degree in a relevant engineering domain.
- Ability to adapt to new working methods and environments.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Prior project experience involving optical communications.

You will be responsible for monitoring the industrial progress and the design evolution at for the satellite and its equipment, ensuring it remains consistent with the technical and programmatic requirements.
Job requirements include a master's degree in a relevant engineering domain, the ability to adapt to new working methods and environments, strong leadership capabilities, and strong problem-solving skills. Previous project experience involving optical communications would be an asset.
