Save the Children UK is seeking a Learning Platforms Support Officer to join the Humanitarian Leadership Academy on a fixed term contract for up to 12 months. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organised, digitally savvy, and passionate about supporting learners to succeed.
As part of the HLA's Learning Operations team, you will play a key role in supporting users of our digital learning platforms, ensuring they have smooth and successful learning experiences. You'll provide responsive first-line support, help manage learner accounts, and create helpful resources to guide users through their learning journeys.

Our purpose is to work with local actors and organisations to provide tailored resilience and crisis response support that addresses their specific needs, focusing on nurturing and empowering local leaders, driving collective action through our networks, thought leadership & research and amplifying local expertise, creating opportunities for change and collaboration.
About the role As Learning Operations Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to learners throughout their journey utilising the HLAs platforms. This role involves managing student accounts, coordinating the learning process and delivering excellent service to learners, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance and guidance to succeed in their engagements.
In this role, you will be responsible for: Monitoring and responding to the support inboxes, providing first-line technical support to learners and partners within 1-3 working days to maintain high user satisfaction. Developing Administration guides, FAQs, and support materials to facilitate the effortless use of the HLAs digital platforms by learners and partners. Monitoring account activity and permissions, ensuring learners and administrators have appropriate access to relevant courses, materials, and resources.
About you We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills: Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach Experience with learner management systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard) Background in customer service or support roles Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive solutions Familiarity with eLearning standards such as SCORM, xAPI, or LTI
