Role Summary
- Work alongside the Operations Director, Investments within the Investment Operations team to ensure smooth functioning of the investment process and provide accurate, consistent data to portfolio managers, analysts, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct rigorous operational due diligence on funds, managers, and partners, focusing on their structure, expertise, and security.
- Present findings to the Investment Committee and review legal and tax documents.
- Assess investment partner terms and service providers like auditors and prime brokers.
Role Requirements
- Experience in operational due diligence, ideally within a private equity platform, an alternative investment administrator, prime broker, or auditing firm.
- A background in finance or accounting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects across different stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of Investment Consultancy or Asset Management Industry.

As an Operations Due Diligence Manager, you will be working with the Operations Director, Investments within the Investments Operations team. The team is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the investment process day-to-day and for the provision and management of timely, accurate and consistent data to portfolio managers, analysts and key stakeholders alike.
Your responsibilities will include conducting operational due diligence on funds, managers, and partners, focusing on structure, team expertise, and cybersecurity. You will present due diligence findings to the Investment Committee and review legal and tax documentation. You will also evaluate investment partner terms and third-party services like auditors and prime brokers.
This role is ideal for a motivated individual with in-depth experience in operational due diligence, keen on contributing to Wellcome’s vision, and adaptable to changing priorities. If you have a background in finance or accounting, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to manage multiple projects across stakeholder groups, this position aligns well with your expertise.
