About Marshmallow We build financial products that accelerate the economic freedom for people who move across borders. We started with car insurance — insuring over a million drivers — and we’re scaling beyond. Tens of millions of people move countries each year, facing overlooked financial challenges. Our future is in building financial products around their needs to positively impact their lives.
The Role As the General Manager for New Financial Products, you will be responsible for bringing new financial products to market and assuming end-to-end responsibilities for product P&Ls. You will be building and leading a cross-functional team to launch new financial products, scoping resource requirements, defining business plans, setting targets and budgets, and leading execution. You will also be establishing the operational processes required to launch and scale the new products, including reporting on product performance post-launch.
Job Requirements We are looking for someone with experience leading the end-to-end launch of new financial products, ideally in regulated environments. You should have a proven track record in a high-growth tech or FinTech environment - ideally in retail banking, lending, or embedded finance. Strong commercial acumen and comfort with full P&L ownership is required. Demonstrated success building, scaling, and leading high-performing cross-functional teams is also a must.
Benefits We offer flexible working, a competitive bonus scheme, a flexible benefits budget, mental wellbeing support, personal budgets for books and training courses, private health care, a medical cash plan, and a tech scheme. We also offer 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), a pension, a cycle-to-work scheme, monthly team socials and company-wide socials every month!
Application Details Our process includes an initial call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team, a deeper dive into your background and experience with one of our CEOs, an in-person 3 hour interview that includes two tasks to demonstrate your analytical skills, product skills and approach to problem solving, and a final culture interview, with one of our Co-CEOs to understand that your work style fits our processes and values.
