Role Summary

  • Complete ownership of the design, development, and validation of mechanical systems within EV charging products.
  • Ensure all components are innovative, manufacturable, and comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Lead mechanical testing and validation efforts, resolve technical challenges and maintain effective documentation to aid knowledge sharing.

Role Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years industry experience.
  • Expertise in mechanical design, and proficiency in SolidWorks, GD&T, and digital rendering tools.
  • Experience in designing for plastic injection moulding, and in-depth knowledge in Materials & Manufacturing and Product Data Management (PDM/PLM).

The role entails taking ownership of the end-to-end design, development, and validation of mechanical systems and components within EV charging products. You will ensure they are innovative, manufacturable, and meet all functional, safety, and quality standards. You will also lead mechanical testing and validation activities, resolve complex technical challenges, and maintain robust documentation to support traceability and knowledge sharing.

Job requirements include at least 2 years + industry experience, experience designing for plastic injection moulding, mechanical design expertise, and proficiency in SolidWorks, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and digital rendering tools. Materials & Manufacturing knowledge and Product Data Management (PDM/PLM) experience are also required.
