Change the World. Think Beyond

Role Summary

Think Beyond is a consultancy with impact at its heart, and we’re looking for a passionate, talented and ambitious person to join our growing team. This is an ideal next step for those with strong experience in strategy development and/or project management, to develop their expertise and lead truly industry-leading projects and initiatives.

You will bring your strategy expertise directly to our clients, advising them across projects and leading the operational delivery of programmes. This will include owning client relationships and managing complex projects.

You’ll need to share our belief in positive societal change in and through sport. This doesn’t mean you need to have background experience within the sport sector, as we’re more interested in how you can use your mind and experience to deliver groundbreaking work.

As with all of our team, you will be expected to recognise new client opportunities and open new networks. You should have strong project management skills, be able to display excellent interpersonal skills, and possess a healthy curiosity to continually learn and build your skillset and knowledge base.

Our culture is one of “high performance, high support”. We empower people to take ownership and make their mark on the company while being given the support required to excel. Our work is fast paced, exciting and always dedicated to delivering positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop industry-leading strategies and advisory services by:

  • Leading the development of programmes and strategies that leverage sport and entertainment to drive measurable social and environmental impact
  • Translating research, insight, and stakeholder consultation into compelling, actionable delivery
  • Developing client impact frameworks, including theories of change and measurement approaches

2. Project management and delivery by:

  • Project managing end-to-end delivery of client work to ensure a client’s brief, budget and timescales are met. This will involve developing and delivering project plans and managing client communications.
  • Ensuring budgets are correct and are being effectively managed
  • Creating (including developing copy and managing design) key project documents including delivery plans, progress updates and outcome reports
  • Engaging and managing members of the Think Beyond team (both senior and junior), ensuring they contribute as needed for the timely delivery of the project

3. Creation of outstanding client experiences by:

  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, often as the key point of contact
  • Displaying proactive communication and collaboration throughout all stages of delivery
  • Consistently challenging thinking and processes throughout delivery
  • Designing and facilitating sessions that build trust and confidence in how we think and support our clients.

4. Support the ongoing growth of Think Beyond by:

  • Supporting with business development work, including proposal development and pitch delivery

Providing high-quality line management and guidance to Think Beyond colleagues

You will have:

  • 5+ years working experience in roles that have given you the transferable skills to make a valuable contribution at Think Beyond, ideally with a minimum of three years’ experience in consulting
  • The ability to think strategically and develop plans to deliver key objectives, including experience using tools and frameworks to analyse information, identify trends, and present recommendations
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
  • A commitment and belief in the ability of sport to create social change
  • The ability to work independently, calmly and without micro-management - our team is small and an expectation to work independently and problem-solve on your own is essential
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task and prioritise – you’ll be working across multiple projects at the same time, across different time zones
  • Excellent project management skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • The right to work in the UK.

For You:

  • Flexible/hybrid working – 3 days a week in the office
  • A vibrant central London office environment
  • 22 days holiday and flexible working arrangements, plus minimum 3 days off at Christmas
  • Private health insurance plus cash plan
  • Health and Wellness Programme
  • 2 Reconnect/Recharge Days
  • Summer flexi-hours & locations
  • Bike 2 Work scheme
  • Birthday donation
  • Pension Contributions.
