The Centre for Evidence and Implementation (CEI) is an organisation dedicated to transforming lives by applying evidence and driving implementation practice and science. Our focus is improving outcomes for families and communities worldwide, making this a meaningful opportunity to make a practical difference. As a Communication and Content Specialist, you will:

  • Lead the development of engaging written and visual content targeted at specific audiences
  • Shape and share CEI’s story globally, working under our Knowledge Translation and Communication Manager

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • At least 2-3 years of professional communication and storytelling experience
  • Degree qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Professional Writing or similar fields
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in developing and managing content and channels
  • Personal initiative, high attention to detail, and strong relationship-building, problem-solving and time-management skills
  • A passionate commitment to leverage research evidence for improving outcomes

Experience in a non-profit, research, or social sector organisation will be highly regarded, as will graphic design experience. CEI is looking for a Communication and Content Specialist to drive external and internal communications that highlight our work, support the growth of our team, and improve outcomes for people facing adversity worldwide. This newly created role will help shape and share CEI’s story across the globe. Working under the direction of our Knowledge Translation and Communication Manager, you’ll lead the development of engaging written and visual content tailored for audiences in the government, non-profit, research and philanthropic sectors.

You will be an organised and self-motivated all-rounder in professional communication and storytelling, with at least 2 to 3 years’ experience, as well as Degree qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Professional Writing or similar. You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, proven experience in developing and managing content and channels, along with personal initiative, high attention to detail, and strong relationship-building, problem-solving and time-management skills.

You’ll be passionate about the potential for research evidence to improve outcomes for families and communities, and ready to thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven, small team environment. Experience in a non-profit, research, or social sector organisation will be highly regarded, as will graphic design experience.
