Role Summary:
- Direct management support and building team culture and ethos.
- Mentoring Field Directors and developing their skills.
- Managing the field team and facilitating communication within and between departments.
- Overseeing recruitment, selection, and onboarding for new hires.
Role Requirements:
- At least 3 years of work experience in a relevant field.
- Bachelor's Degree from an African university.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Proven ability and experience in mentorship, leadership and organizational field.

The role of the DRC Field Operations Specialist is a dynamic client-facing role with a large degree of scope to help shape the DRC core operations strategy. You will provide direct management support to staff members, while growing and building a team culture and ethos. Reporting directly to the Field Operation Director, you’ll be in charge of the management of the field team. You will mentor Field Directors, develop their skills, and play leading roles in inter and intra department communications. You will also lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding for new hires at various levels.
Job requirements include at least 3 years of work experience and a demonstrated passion for sustainable community/international development. You should hold a Bachelor's Degree from an African University and have demonstrated ability and previous mentorship, organizational, and leadership experience. Good command verbal and written communication in French and English is required. You should also have the ability of data analysis, team mentoring, and field-based competency.
