Innovation Lead - Strategy

As an Innovation Lead, you will lead on delivering mission-critical and non-mission-related programs and projects to improve patient care. You will contribute to different stages of a mission life cycle, from selecting new mission priorities to evaluating existing missions and ensuring any innovations scaled are sustainably handed over to the relevant teams in the health system.

The post-holder will:

• Programme leadership: Lead and oversee the execution of a programme of work including several matrix projects, ensuring projects are scoped, planned and delivered to a high standard of quality to deliver impact for our core population.  
• Innovation implementation: Lead on implementing and scaling evidence-based innovations within the local health system.  
• Stakeholder relationships: Build strong relationships at senior levels across the NHS, academia and innovation organisations.  
• Portfolio management: Ensure timely delivery of projects, o within scope, budget and timelines, applying relevant and adaptable project management practices. 
• Subject matter expertise on strategy and insights: Act as a senior advisor on strategic capabilities, shaping organizational approaches and methodologies in areas like problem definition, horizon scanning, research and evidence synthesis or evaluation. 
• Corporate leadership: help shape the direction and culture of ICHP by being an active member of our leadership team, role-modelling our values and actively participating in organizational improvement initiatives.
