About the Role
We're looking for a qualified accountant (or near qualified accountant) who loves solving problems and enjoys working directly with customers. This role sits within our Operations team and is central to both customer success and product evolution.
You'll work closely with CFOs, founders, and accountants to ensure they get maximum value from the platform - while also shaping how the next generation of accounting software is built.

Key Responsibilities
RevOps / Customer Enablement
● Guide customers through financial reporting, journal creation, and issue resolution
● Respond to support queries from finance teams globally
● Run product walkthroughs via video calls for new and trial users
● Create and maintain customer-facing resources: videos, tutorials, articles, in-app chat
● Proactively communicate new features and upgrades to customers
● Support onboarding and help customers transition from spreadsheet-based reporting
● Work with the COO of ScaleXP to create enhancements which make it easier for customers to self-onboard and self-serve
Product Development & Innovation
● Collaborate with the product team to relay customer feedback
● Suggest product improvements and contribute ideas for future functionality
● Support the development of new features by testing and validating workflows
Who You Are
Must-Have Skills & Experience
● Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) company
● Knowledge of SaaS metrics and reporting
● Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), either qualified or nearly qualified
● 2 years' accounting experience in a small company using Xero or QuickBooks
● Deep understanding of financial reporting and the interplay between financial statements
● Ability to simplify and explain complex accounting concepts to customers
● Strong client management and troubleshooting skills
● Self-starter attitude with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
● Comfortable working across multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience
● Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive
● Familiarity with customer support tools and help content creation
● Interest in AI, automation, and shaping the future of accounting
● Previous experience in a SaaS or tech company
Working Hours, Location, Salary
Location: Remote (UK-based) with optional London office days
Salary: £45k-£75k depending on experience
Hours: Flexible full-time hours. Must include at least 3 hours per week overlapping with Australia/New Zealand time zones (aka start early or finish late 3 days per week.)
