Role Summary

As Head of Delivery - Secondary ITT Programmes, you will lead the delivery of our Teacher Development programmes for Secondary ITT Teachers. You will be an expert in the delivery of ITT programmes, leading a team to achieve ambitious outcomes. You will ensure that your team creates high-quality experiences which enable our programme members to succeed, engaging them in their development, the community and in our social purpose and mission to ensure all children are able to achieve their potential.
We are looking for someone with leadership experience of delivering ITT programmes, who can use this experience and other data to inform strategic decision making for your team and the department. You should have a track record in establishing plans, driving strategies and standards required to deliver against departmental & organisational plans. You should be able to manage risk and uncertainty with deftness, knowing when to be decisive and how to engage others to achieve impact. You should be able to communicate ideas or projects with confidence and authority to large numbers of individuals or influential audiences.
You should be able to set direction for your team and inspire high performance through the communication of a compelling vision that generates commitment, enthusiasm, and a sense of purpose. You should be able to build strong relationships with external and internal senior stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and negotiation on strategic issues by demonstrating exceptional influencing and persuasion skills. You should be able to lead large and dispersed teams, and building high performing teams through; the development and empowerment of others; design and implementation of team systems and processes; and setting clear expectations, priorities and tools to achieve them.
