Role Summary
- Take up a leadership role in the DRC program, particularly the impact division.
- Develop strategies for major impact, aiming for $200+ annual impact per farmer and mitigation of deforestation by 2030.
- Lead unique initiatives such as the Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) program and social and behaviour change (SBC) interventions.
- Manage the monitoring and evaluation department.
Role Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sectors like agricultural innovation, behaviour change, product development, consulting or M&E.
- At least 3 years in one of the countries of operation.
- Experience in the agriculture or environment sector with a good background in research.
- Proficiency in managing large teams and delivering successful projects.
- Proficiency in English and French (minimum B2 level).

The Role You will take on a leadership position within the One Acre Fund DRC program, leading the impact division. You will be focusing on developing an impact strategy, aiming for $200+ annual impact per farmer and slowed or halted deforestation in our area of intervention by 2030. You will be leading the Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) program, our social and behaviour change (SBC) interventions, as well as our monitoring and evaluation department (M&E), while reporting to the Country Director.
Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in agricultural innovation, extension, research, behaviour change, product development, consulting or M&E, including 3+ years in one of our countries of operation. Experience in the agriculture or environment sector, with good experience in qualitative and quantitative research, including statistics applied to monitoring and evaluation. Experience managing large teams (5-10+ team members) and delivering projects successfully. English and French (at minimum B2 level) required.
