Role Summary

The role: As a Senior Safeguarding Officer, you will work as part of a small team to deliver the safeguarding and incident helpdesks for staff, championing the highest levels of customer care and providing a responsive, high-quality service to colleagues. You will assess and triage safeguarding and at-risk concerns, ensuring that they are responded to in line with Mind's procedures and values and escalated where appropriate. You will maintain excellent case management standards, ensuring that concerns are responded to effectively; recorded accurately; and, actions arising from these concerns, including statutory notifications, are completed in a timely and appropriate manner.
Job requirements: You will promote a positive safeguarding culture by supporting the development and delivery of training, awareness activities and guidance for staff and volunteers. You will develop and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues across Mind, supporting teams to embed safeguarding best practice into daily operations. This includes our service delivery, fundraising, policy and influencing, retail and network operations.
