Role Summary

Role Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in B2B marketing with proven team leadership capabilities.
  • A strong track record in building tactical plans.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary marketing teams.
  • Understand integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms, preferably HubSpot.
  • Proven ability in balancing execution of channels with team leadership responsibilities.

We're seeking an experienced Marketing Lead to provide maternity cover for a team leadership role within our marketing function. You'll be leading a team of 3 direct reports while driving and delivering tactical planning to hit our growth targets through MQL generation and pipeline

optimisation.

Please note this is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Your ultimate mission:

Lead a team of 3 to deliver against MQL and pipeline targets Build integrated tactical plans across events, content, and campaigns Drive hands-on delivery of promotional channels including email marketing, trade partnerships, and LinkedIn ads Drive performance analysis and optimisation to ensure we're hitting growth targets Work closely with wider growth team to optimise pipeline

What you'll be doing:

Team leadership and planning: Lead and manage 3 direct reports: senior events manager, content manager, and graphic designer Collaborate with your team to build tactical plans across events, content, and campaignsSet clear objectives and KPIs for each team member aligned to growth targets Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings to ensure delivery and performanceCoach and develop team members to maximise their impact and career growth

Strategic planning and growth targets Build comprehensive tactical plans to deliver MQL generation and pipeline optimisation targets Work closely with growth leadership team to align marketing strategy with business objectives Develop integrated campaign strategies that leverage events, content, and digital channelsCreate quarterly and monthly tactical roadmaps with clear deliverables and timelines Ensure tactical plans reflect our clinical expertise positioning and target ICP effectively

Hands-on channel delivery Own, create, measure and optimise the email marketing calendar to drive lead generationManage trade partnership relationships and activity  Execute and optimise paid channels e.g. LinkedIn adsMonitor and optimise cost per MQL across all channels to ensure efficient spend Test and iterate channel performance to maximise pipeline contribution

Performance analytics and optimisation Get hold of numbers quickly to monitor performance against growth targets Track and analyse MQL generation, pipeline contribution, and conversion metrics Provide regular performance reports to growth leadership teamIdentify optimisation opportunities and pivot tactics and channels based on data insights Partner closely with SDR and sales team to ensure MQLs convert effectively

Who we are looking for:

5+ years' experience in B2B marketing with proven team leadership experience Strong track record of building tactical plans that deliver MQL and pipeline targets Experience managing multi disciplinary marketing teams (events, content, creative) Analytical mindset with ability to quickly interpret performance data and optimise Experience collaborating with senior leadership teams on growth strategy Strong planning and project management skillsUnderstanding of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (we use HubSpot) Experience with promotional channels including email marketing, trade partnerships, and LinkedIn ads Understanding of cost per MQL optimisation and channel performance measurement Proven ability to balance channel execution with team leadership responsibilities
