Role Summary
- This role centres on cataloguing the Royal Photographic Society archive using the Museum’s Collections Management System in line with the International Standard for Archival Description (ISAD(G)).
- The RPS Project is key to the V&A's wider activities in cataloguing, digitizing, caring for collections, and increasing access.
- The work aims to safeguard the collection and provide meaningful access to inspire current and future generations.

The main purpose of the role is to catalogue the Royal Photographic Society archive in accordance with the International Standard for Archival Description (ISAD(G)) using the Museum’s Collections Management System. The RPS Project is a vital component of the V&A’s broader programme of cataloguing, digitization, collections care, and access. It aims to safeguard the collection while providing meaningful access to benefit and inspire current and future generations.
