SAS Infrastructure Administrator

We are looking for a SAS Infrastructure Administrator to join our team, if you consider yourself a good fit, apply and let's grow together!

Responsibilities:

• Installs, configures, monitors, administers SAS 9.4 and SAS 9.3 data warehouse system.
• Main requirement is to focus on Datawarehouse area for non-monitoring, tuning, patching, performing upgrades, testing support, tracking and keeping up to date Lifecycle Management, license renewals, Capacity Management.
• Ensuring the quality, availability and security levels stipulated in operating agreements (OLA) or service agreements (SLA).
• Participate in all infrastructure projects related to Datawarehouse.

Experience, knowledge, and skills required :

• Knowledge of administration and working with SAS 9.4 and SAS 9.3.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases (preferably Oracle Exadata)
  
• Advanced knowledge of optimization, tuning, patching, upgrading, use of administration and monitoring tools
• Experience with SAS BASE, SAS Management Console, SAS Enterprise Guide
• Knowledge of large database administration, Datawarehouse systems
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of software architectures and database infrastructure elements
• Specific knowledge of shell script programming, Python
• General knowledge of virtualisation systems: VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM
• Adaptability and availability in emergency situations;
• Strong working capacity, ability to work under stress;
• Initiative and proactivity, analysis and evaluation of information, ability to find optimal solutions;
• Communication skills, determination and perseverance in solving tasks;
• Team spirit;
•  Quick assimilation of knowledge.

Nice-to-have skills:

• General knowledge of ITIL methodology with focus on Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, Change Management, Incident and Problem Management processes is an advantage.
• BigData knowledge
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Splunk
• DevOps knowledge, automation, integration, orchestration
