The role We are looking for a seasoned Senior Security Manager to oversee, guide and elevate our Security Operations and Cyber Risk team which sits under Tech. The role As a Senior Security Manager, you will build, manage, and mentor a team of security engineers with a focus on security operations, threat hunting and risk management. You will drive company and project goals, prioritise resources, and ensure timely delivery. You will implement effective security processes, technology, and policies for sustained growth. You will represent Funding Circle Security and management at industry events, and help grow our brand within the community.
Job requirements We are looking for candidates with extensive experience with a modern security stack, including hands-on experience of SIEM & SOAR technologies, EDR & CASB solutions. This has to be within a fast paced security operations environment, that's provided a thorough understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, NIST CSF, ISO27k and PCI and their correct application to businesses. You will be confident working with both technical and business stakeholders to translate security needs to business needs, taking a pragmatic approach to security and risk. This will also include the assisting / leading 3rd party security audits & due diligence. You should have professional experience in attack surface management, security threat hunting and incident response whilst implementing security awareness programs across a business. Direct experience of vendor risk management and proficient technical security understanding of Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure as well as data engineering tools and concepts and the following tooling platforms - CSPM, CIEM & DSPM is required.
