We are excited to invite you to join our rapidly growing team at Runna, where we are building the #1 training platform for runners worldwide. Our mission is to help everyday runners become outstanding by providing an innovative app that offers world-class training, coaching, and community support. Our platform caters to all levels, whether users are aiming to improve their 5k time or training for their first marathon.

Runna has experienced significant growth and recognition, including closing a $6.5 million funding round in November 2023 led by JamJar, with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex, and Creator Ventures. In 2024, we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the iPhone App of the Year, highlighting the impact and innovation of our product. Most recently, in 2025, we were acquired by Strava, which accelerates our journey towards becoming the leading global training platform for runners.

Our team is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the fitness industry, and we are looking for talented individuals who share this vision. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a company with ambitious goals and a supportive, dynamic environment.

The Role: As a Technical Support Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our users experiencing technical issues or questions about the Runna app. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to user inquiries via our in-app support platform, Intercom, providing fast, professional, and friendly assistance. You will guide users through troubleshooting steps, help them explore app features, set up integrations, and resolve technical problems to ensure a smooth and positive experience.

While this role does not involve coding or debugging, your problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying solutions and escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams. You will also support our frontline support colleagues by providing technical expertise and sharing user feedback with the Product and Tech teams to help improve the app.

Requirements: The ideal candidate is customer-focused, enjoys solving problems, and has experience in a support or technical assistance role. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential. Familiarity with tools such as Intercom, Jira, Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace is a plus. Basic coding knowledge is helpful but not required.

You should be based in or near London, have the right to work in the UK, and be available to work full-time with a flexible shift pattern from 9 AM to 6 PM, including some weekend shifts.

Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £32,000 annually, along with participation in Strava’s stock incentive programs. Our benefits package includes flexible working arrangements, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, subscriptions for you and friends, Strava and Headspace memberships, annual gear and event vouchers, private health insurance with Bupa, a workplace pension scheme, mental wellness support through Modern Health, and inclusive fertility and family-forming benefits through Carrot.

Our interview process is designed to be straightforward and engaging, consisting of an introductory video call, a take-home task, and an in-person final interview at our London office.
