What will you be doing?

What will you be doing? Ø  Supporting families to process applications for funding for equipment carrying out a range of administration tasks in the office Ø  Data inputting into records in our database system Ø  Emailing families and verifying incoming documentation including diagnosis letters and financial documentation. Ø  Writing financial and application summaries Ø  Answering telephone and email enquiries from families regarding the status of applications   What skills would be useful? Ø  Approachable and reliable Ø  A good level of written and verbal communication. Ø  A good attention to detail Ø  A good level of computer literacy Ø  Comfortable using a telephone Ø  Willingness to learn   What’s in it for you? Volunteering is flexible. Our centre is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. For the role to be mutually beneficial, we hope for volunteers to give 3 to 4 hours a week for 6 months.   Where is the role located? What are we looking for?

Administrative experience in a voluntary or employment capacity Comfortable using a computer and learning new IT systems Previous experience of data entry into IT systems in a voluntary or professional capacity Comfortable are you answering phone calls Good level of written and verbal communication skills Enjoy making conversations with new people
