Volunteer BOARD TRUSTEE (TECHNOLOGY EXPERTISE)

What will you be doing?

Setting our strategy and direction, ensuring our goals are measured and achieved. Advising and leading on Tech development, including our website, apps and other digital products. Keeping our purpose front of mind - ensuring our work is impacting the lives of underserved, bereaved young people.  Making sure we’re running efficiently and effectively, deploying resources responsibly. Connecting us to communities and networks to help raise awareness of our purpose and attract talent and expertise. Ensuring we comply with applicable regulatory and safeguarding requirements, especially related to Technology and Data.  Mentoring and coaching leaders in our Technology team, using specialist knowledge to provide support and guidance on our digital strategy. 

What are we looking for?

Proven experience of leading the design, development and delivery of digital products or gaming applications. Knowledge of service design principles and user journeys using technology. A strategic mindset with an ability to think creatively to maintain competitive advantage. Confidence to constructively challenge the status quo with our charitable goals in mind.  Strong collaboration and communication skills. A passion for our purpose.
