Volunteer Fundraising Trustee

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Fundraising Trustee who can support us to raise much needed funds.  You will be working closely with our CEO to support her in: 

Devising a fundraising strategy to be approved by the Board of Trustees Writing funding applications to charitable trusts and foundations Attend networking events and meetings with potential donors Support visits from funders and build relationships with funders Work with the team to create innovative ideas to gain funds

What are we looking for?

Key skills requirements are:

Previous experience of fund raising in the charitable sector or community or sales/business development experience Excellent written and oral presentation skills  Networking skills Drive and ambition to help us improve our financial sustainability by diversification of our funding streams
