What will you be doing?

Supporting Healthcare Heroes UK (SHH-UK) is a UK-wide charity dedicated to standing with healthcare workers, supporting them in preventing COVID-19 and aiding those living with Long COVID. Established in 2023, SHH-UK plays a key role in shaping national policy while providing essential support to healthcare professionals affected by Long COVID.   Role Overview SHH-UK is seeking dedicated volunteer administrators to assist with various administrative tasks that help the charity run smoothly. Volunteers will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication, organization, and coordination within the organization. If you have some free time each week and want to make a meaningful impact, this role is a great opportunity to contribute to a vital cause.   Key Responsibilities As an SHH-UK Administrator, you may be involved in:

Meeting Coordination – Sending out agendas, scheduling meetings, and taking minutes. Database Management – Keeping records and databases up to date. Online Support – Assisting in the management and facilitation of online support groups for healthcare workers.

  Who We Are Looking For We welcome applicants who meet the following criteria:

Administrative Experience – Previous experience in admin tasks such as diary management, scheduling, & organising meetings. IT Skills – Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Commitment – A strong dedication to SHH-UK’s mission and vision. Time Availability – Willingness to commit a minimum amount of time each week. Teamwork – Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. Communication Skills – Ability to effectively interact with team members.
