Role Description We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic and experienced Employment Paralegal to join our team with a special focus on our women's members and our organisation, supporting the Head of Legal. The ideal candidate will have legal experience, be responsible for ensuring legal compliance, advocating for women's rights, and providing tailored legal support to empower and protect our women members within the professional network. Responsibilities As the successful Employment Paralegal, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following: • Working closely with the Head of Legal to assist on providing advice on all aspects of Employment Law including but not limited to discrimination law, TUPE, Equal Pay, Employment contracts, Age discrimination, Bullying and harassment, Dismissal and employee grievances, Equal pay, Holiday pay, Minimum wage, Disability, Discrimination based on gender, race, religion or sexuality, Parental leave including maternity, paternity leave and parental rights, Redundancy, Recruitment, Working hours, Whistleblowing, Health and Safety • Supporting with the progression of cases from initiation to completion • Maintaining regular communication with members on their cases • Assisting with the preparation of legal documents, research, keeping abreast of developments on applicable laws and regulations • Providing legal assistance related to career development, such as advice on negotiating employment contracts, and empowering members to navigate their professional journeys more effectively
