What will you be doing?

We’re looking for a PR-savvy volunteer to help us raise our profile and share our projects with the world. You’ll play a key role in securing media coverage, supporting campaigns, and amplifying the impact of our work as we celebrate our 20th anniversary in 2025. Key responsibilities

Develop press releases, media pitches and articles to promote Article 25’s projects and milestones Build relationships with journalists, media outlets and partner comms teams Support ongoing and campaign-specific PR efforts, including our 20th birthday campaign Help maintain and grow our media list and track coverage Collaborate with the wider communications team on messaging and storytelling

Collaboration & Flexibility You’ll work closely with our Director of Communications and the wider team, receiving guidance and input as needed. This is a fully remote role with flexibility in terms of hours, perfect for someone looking to contribute their skills on a part-time basis while making a difference. In this role, you will assist the Director of Communications with reaching out to press contacts and securing features with publications based on Article 25's USPs, support with campaign planning, and more. This is a flexible, fully remote position with a commitment of 10-15 hours per month.

What are we looking for?

We’re seeking a volunteer who is passionate about communications and interested in supporting an organisation that builds schools, hospitals and homes in communities where our skills are needed.  The ideal candidate will have:

A background in Public and Media Relations, communications, or journalism Strong written communication skills and an eye for a story Confident reaching out to media contacts and pitching ideas Passionate about social impact, international development and design A flair for developing fresh, engaging content that resonates with a wide audience. Able to give around 4–6 hours per week (flexible timing), and who can commit regularly and adapt to changing priorities.
