What will you be doing?

We are a purpose-led Community Interest Company (CIC) committed to supporting the fair and responsible integration of migrants into their new communities. To elevate our voice and expand our reach, we are seeking a strategic and creative Communications Strategy Advisor to help shape and guide our communications efforts across all channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who wants to use their skills for meaningful impact. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned with our mission, enabling us to engage partners, funders, and communities more effectively. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and advise on a high-level communications strategy that aligns with our mission, values, and growth goals. Help define key messages and tone of voice for different audiences, including partners, funders, the public, and those we support. Review and improve current communication materials, including website content, brochures, pitch decks, reports, and email campaigns. Provide guidance on storytelling approaches that centre dignity, inclusion, and impact. Support the development of content plans for digital platforms (social media, newsletters, blogs). Help establish communication goals and simple metrics to evaluate reach and engagement. Collaborate with the CIC’s leadership and other advisors to ensure consistent, impactful messaging across initiatives.

What are we looking for?

Key Skills & Experience:

Over 3 years proven experience in communications, brand strategy, content development, or public relations. Strong understanding of nonprofit or social impact communications (experience with CICs or migrant-focused organisations is a plus). Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, accessible language. Strategic mindset with creative flair. Comfortable providing high-level guidance and actionable feedback. Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms is desirable (e.g. Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, LinkedIn).
