Volunteer Trustee

What will you be doing?

We are a new charity that needs experienced and skilled people to join our Board of Trustees. We are a small team who are finding our feet and would welcome someone with skills in IT or Finance to help us navigate the next stage. We have achieved a lot in a small space of time and need support in building a strong foundation to help us succeed as a charity. Our current Trustees are committed, friendly, and enthusiastic and we would like someone who is passionate about supporting people with mental health and the outdoors. Lived experience is not required, but many of us have our own experiences of mental ill-health whether personally or through loved ones and recognise the strengths this brings to our organisation.

What are we looking for?

We would like someone who is passionate about the outdoors and recognises the positive impact it has on mental health and wellbeing. We want someone who has skills in Finance to take on a Treasurer role and support us as we grow.

What difference will you make?

As part of our Board, you will support and guide us as we move into a new stage as a formal charity. You will support with helping build a strong business plan to guide us through the coming years and help us grow. You will have the opportunity to work in a small grassroots organisation and see the direct impact your work has on the local community.
