What will you be doing?

See Around Britain is a charity that aims to offer individuals free information about a wide variety of venues, ranging from the Arts, cultural and historical sites, cafés to libraries, post offices, pharmacies, hospitals and surgeries, to tourist destinations. A specific focus is placed on accessibility for disabled individuals, providing crucial information that will allow potential visitors to make informed decisions about the suitability of a destination. This vital information is provided in the form of an online interactive map (seearoundbritain.com), which includes over 50,500 venues, allowing visitors to plan their trips based on the information provided. Volunteer Video Surveyor We are beginning to add video descriptions to our venue listings and are looking for volunteers to create short, informative videos of venues. These will highlight accessibility and key features. If you’re comfortable using a smartphone or camera and are interested in videography and accessibility, this is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact. Training and guidance will be provided where needed.
