What will you be doing?

We desperately need fundraising volunteers. This is great experience for anybody with spare time, has vast fundraising experience and wants to enhance their fundraising experience. You will work alongside our fundraising committee, coming up with ideas for fundraising and helping out at any events we do to try and raise money for the charity. You will attend the committee meetings via Zoom each month to share your input and any work you have been doing. We need to secure more volunteers who have a great knowledge and experience of fundraising. Your main role will be in Community fundraising, but our new Trustee, Lisa, would also like somebody to work alongside her in corporate fundraising.

What are we looking for?

You will be compassionate and care about people living with dementia. You will have vast previous experience in fundraising to be able to adequately support our fundraising team.

What difference will you make?

We support people across Manchester and North Trafford to live positively with dementia.  Our services include Friendship & Activity groups, social outings, short-term carer respite and free carer training for family care partners. As a fundraiser, you will gain income for us to continue with these crucial services. In 2022, we provided 2,072 hours & 23 minutes of 1:1 contact and support throughout the year, as well as 198 individual members attending groups. Your support in fundraising will help us to support members and carers even more.
