Balloon is an award winning social enterprise that trains volunteers to work with micro businesses and co-design sustainable ideas for growth. Balloon then invests in the best ideas and provides ongoing support. We believe that entrepreneurs will end poverty and we are working to unleash the potential of businesses to reach this point faster.

Balloon brings exceptional young people from around the world to developing countries to work with budding local entrepreneurs to imagine and create new businesses that provide jobs and improve lives. 

Working with, and investing in, young men and women from disadvantaged backgrounds we empower local people to defeat poverty through business, not aid.
