Beam is a social enterprise bringing AI to welfare services, trusted by over 100 government partners. Enabled by tech and AI, our expert caseworkers have supported thousands of underserved people into homes and jobs, while our software has slashed admin for thousands of frontline workers.

Funded by the Mayor of London and the world's top tech entrepreneurs, Beam is transforming how the world supports those left behind. Beam’s award-winning work has been covered widely in the media, including by the BBC, The Times, The FT, The Independent, Evening Standard, Sky, Time Out and others. Beam were also named one of London’s Top 10 Startups by WIRED magazine, Top 15 UK Startups by LinkedIn, and features regularly on The Escape 100.

To date, Beam's supporters have changed the lives of 1,872 people. That’s people that have been left behind, such as homeless people, refugees and prison leavers. They do this by completely disrupting the traditional model of homelessness support, by allowing someone who wants to get back on their feet to crowdsource funds from the wider community to fund training for a new career. Beam are using the crowdfunding model in a totally unique and innovative way, and it works. As Beam’s reach continues to grow, as is their team.
